Elihu Island

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Elihu Island is a private island off the coast of Stonington, Connecticut. It is located in Wequetequock Cove, just south of Goat Island.

The island, a popular destination for weddings, is very small, with just a handful of buildings. Its sole road is Elihu Island Road, which provides access to the mainland via a causeway. The road crosses one of the last remaining level crossings on the Northeast Corridor.

Fishers Island is nearby, but it is part of New York.
