From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eliburn is one of the newest parts of Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland and is located to the North-West side of the town. The area has mostly private housing rather than council housing, though Eliburn is under constant development with the building of both affordable council apartments and houses, as well as private houses and flats. On the main road running through the area, (Eliburn Road) the locals have access to a grocery store, a popular Indian restaurant, 'Zaika' and a well used Fish and Chip shop. The population of Eliburn is estimated to be around 13,000 in 2009 this makes it one of the largest areas in Livingston behind Deans, Craigshill and Ladywell.
