Elfrida, Arizona

Elfrida is a small unincorporated community in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Arizona in Cochise County. Elfrida is located on U.S. Route 191 24 miles (39 km) northwest of Douglas, 5 miles (8.0 km) north of McNeal. Elfrida has the ZIP Code of 85610; in 2000, the population of the 85610 ZCTA was 1,366.[1]

Elfrida is home to Valley Union High School[2] grades 9-12 and Elfrida Elementary School[3] grades K-8.

Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc., was founded in Elfrida, Arizona in 1986.[4]

Elfrida Community Center is North of the center crossroads.

Elfrida gained a library circa March 2000.[5] The Elfrida Library[6] is part of the Cochise County Library District.[7]

Elfrida Fire Department[8] is South of the center crossroads.
