Eleutherochir is a genus of dragonets native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Eleutherochir mirabilis (Snyder, 1911)
- Eleutherochir opercularis (Valenciennes, 1837) (Flap-gilled dragonet)
