Elastic Heart is a song by Sia, recorded for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the soundtrack for the 2013 American science-fiction adventure film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It was released as a digital single on October 1, 2013.[1] "Elastic Heart" was produced by American producers Diplo and Greg Kurstin. It has reached number 7 on the New Zealand music chart, and has also made chart appearances in UK, Australia and Belgium.

Background

"Elastic Heart" marks Sia's first release as the lead artist since her 2012 collaboration with David Guetta for "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)". While the single is technically the second to be released, it is the second single to be confirmed, following by Christina Aguilera's "We Remain".
