Eksara is a census town under Liluah police station in Sadar subdivision of Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]

Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[3] Eksara had a population of 6,485. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Eksara has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 64%. In Eksara, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
