The Egypt Cup is the main "knockout" football cup competition in Egypt. It was created in 1921, and was not played only between 1968 and 1971 due to the Six-Day War, in 1973–1974 due to October War and in 1979–1980, 1981–1982, 1986–1987, 1993–1994 and 2011–2012.
