Egypt–Indonesia relations are foreign bilateral relations between Arab Republic of Egypt and Republic of Indonesia. Both are Muslim-majority countries with significant non-Muslim minorities.[1] Egypt was the first nation that recognize Indonesian sovereignty in 1946. Indonesia has an embassy in Cairo and Egypt has an embassy in Jakarta. Both countries are members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the G20 developing nations and Developing 8 Countries.
