Edwina Victoria Louise Brudenell, née Hicks (born 24 December 1961 London) is a British aristocrat and model.

Edwina is the elder daughter of Lady Pamela Hicks and David Nightingale Hicks.

Through her maternal grandfather, the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, she is a second cousin to Charles, Prince of Wales, and 480th in line to succeed to the British throne.

She is named after her maternal grandmother, Edwina Mountbatten, Countess Mountbatten of Burma. She is a god-daughter of Queen Elizabeth II.[1]

Marriage and children

She married Jeremy Alexander Rothwell Brudenell (born 2 April 1960 London), son of John Michael Brudenell and Mollie Rothwell, on 24 March 1984 in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.[2]

She and her husband have three children:

  • Maddison May Brudenell (born 16 May 1994),
  • Jordan Anne Brudenell (born 1 July 1995), and
  • Rowan Michael David Brudenell (born 21 February 2001).
