Edwin G. Struck was the 13th head football coach for the Illinois State Redbirds in Normal, Illinois and he held that position for twenty seasons, from 1945 until 1964. His overall coaching record at ISU was 86 wins, 78 losses, and 14 ties. This ranks him first at ISU in terms of total wins and seventh at ISU in terms of winning percentage. [3]
