Edward Skorek (born June 13, 1943) is a Polish former volleyball player who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics, in the 1972 Summer Olympics, and in the 1976 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
In 1968 he was part of the Polish team which finished fifth in the Olympic tournament. He played all nine matches.
Four years later he finished ninth with the Polish team in the 1972 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches.
At the 1976 Games he was a member of the Polish team which won the gold medal in the Olympic tournament. He played all six matches again. One of the most dominating players of the era.
Following his successful player career, Skorek has tried his luck as a coach in various European Leagues. Currently works as a Head Coach for the University of Warsaw (Warsaw, Poland).
