Sir Edward Victor Luckhoo (1912 – 1998) was the Governor General of Guyana from 1966 to 1969 and became its Acting President upon the declaration of Guyana becoming a Republic, however he is not officially counted as a President of Guyana. He was knighted on 1 January 1970.
