Edmond Themelko

Edmond Temelko (Macedonian: Едмонд Темелко) is the mayor of the Albanian Liqenas Municipality and president of the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration. He is mayor since the local elections held in 2007, before that he was councilor in the municipal council. He is an activist for Macedonian rights in Albania. In 2009 he gave a speech on the Albanian Radio-Television in Macedonian to increase the national awareness of the Macedonian people.[1] In 2011 he denied the Albanian census because of the unreasonable law given by the Albanian Government.[2]
