The Edersee is a 11.8 km² reservoir in Waldeck-Frankenberg, Hesse, Germany with 199.3 million m³ of storage space. It is the 2nd largest reservoir in terms of area, and the 3rd largest in terms of volume, in Germany. It is located on the Fulda Tributary of Eder behind the 48m high Edersee Dam.
