Edward "Ed" Lee West, III, nickname 'the Toolbox'. (Born August 2, 1961 in Colbert County, Alabama), is a former professional American football player. A 6'1", 243-lb. tight end from Auburn University, West was never drafted by an NFL team but did play in over 200 NFL games in 14 seasons from 1984 to 1997 for the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Atlanta Falcons.
