Edward Joseph Sharkey (born July 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the New York Yanks, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Francisco 49ers. He also played in the All-America Football Conference for the New York Yankees. Sharkey attended Duke University and the University of Nevada.
Sharkey played for the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League in 1957, playing guard, center and linebacker positions.
