Edward "Ed" Lindsey is an American politician from the state of Georgia. He is a member of Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 54th district, and the Republican Party. Lindsey serves as the House Majority Whip.[1] Lindsey is running for the United States House of Representatives in Georgia's 11th congressional district, as Phil Gingrey is not running for reelection.[2]
Lindsey is a native Georgian. He graduated from Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He earned a degree in History from Davidson College, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. Lindsey and three partners started their own firm, Goodman McGuffey Lindsey & Johnson, LLP, in 1990.[3]
