Eberhard Eimler

General Eberhard Eimler (born 30 November 1930 in Ulm) is a retired German Air Force general. He was Inspector of the Luftwaffe, the senior Luftwaffe appointment, from 1983 to 1987 and Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 1987 to 1990.
In October 1980 Eimler was promoted to lieutenant general and appointed Deputy Commander of the Allied Air Forces Central Europe (AAFCE) under the U.S. General Charles A. Gabriel.
