East Williamston
East Williamston is a village and community in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is situated in the south of the county, 4 km west of Saundersfoot. The parish includes the villages of Cold Inn 51°42′57″N 4°44′55″W / 51.71583°N 4.74861°W and Broadmoor 51°43′12″N 4°45′16″W / 51.72000°N 4.75444°W. The community had a population of 1,787 in 2001. With the community of Jeffreyston, it makes up the Pembrokeshire electoral ward of East Williamston, which had a population of 2,327 in 2001, with 11% Welsh speakers.
It was originally a chapelry of the parish of Begelly. Part of Little England beyond Wales, it has been essentially English-speaking for 900 years.
The parish had an area of 588 Ha. Its census populations were: 341 (1801): 551 (1851): 397 (1901): 387 (1951): 473 (1981).
The percentage of Welsh speakers was 5 (1891): 12 (1931): 3 (1971).
