East Bengal Ground is a multi-use stadium in Kolkata, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Kingfisher East Bengal F.C. The stadium holds 23,500 people. It is one of the venues of the Calcutta Premier Division league.
The ground has a natural grass turf. Other features of the stadium include commentary boxes for Radio and TV, press box, air conditioned player's changing rooms along with an ultra-modern gymnasium.
The stadium lies in the Kolkata Maidan area on the northern side of Fort William and its near the Eden Gardens. The Esplanade metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Kolkata Metro is also nearby.[1]
