EarthKosher is a kosher certification agency.

History of EarthKosher

EarthKosher was founded in Los Angeles, California in 2004 by Rabbi Zecharyah Tzvi Goldman and his wife Mrs. Ora Ahuva Goldman. Rabbi Zushe Yosef Blech initially served as EarthKosher's Rabbinic Consultant. In 2007, before EarthKosher began its expansion, he became a full partner and the Senior Kashrut Administrator. As such, he is responsible for the oversight of all companies under kosher certification and the analysis of all kosher standards and policies applicable to these companies. EarthKosher formed a partnership in 2009 with Rabbi Nissim Hilu of Mexico City, Mexico and now operates a full Spanish speaking kosher certification branch in Mexico.

Worldwide scope

As of July, 2011, EarthKosher provides kosher certification to 150 companies in 17 countries.

Industry recognition

EarthKosher is a member of the Association of Kashrus Organizations (AKO) and is further recognized by Rabbi Eliezer Eidlitz of Kosherquest.org. EarthKosher is also recognized nationally and internationally by kosher certification agencies and authorities.

Staff

Rabbi Zushe Yosef Blech, author of Kosher Food Production and former Midwest Regional Director of the Orthodox Union, is EarthKosher's Senior Kashrut Administrator. He is responsible for the oversight of all companies under kosher certification and the analysis of all kosher standards and policies.

Rabbi Zecharyah Tzvi Goldman is the Chief Executive Officer of EarthKosher and handles customer relations, marketing, sales, business administration, legal issues and the initial kosher analysis of companies seeking kosher certification.

Mrs. Ora Ahuva Goldman, founder and president of Mekorma Enterprises, a software development firm specializing in accounting software, is EarthKosher's Chief Financial Officer.

Rabbi Nissim Hilu is the Rabbinic Coordinator for EarthKosher's Mexico Branch.

Locations

EarthKosher is currently headquartered in Boulder, Colorado with offices in Monsey, New York and Mexico City, Mexico.
