Eamonn Peter Sheridan (born 14 May 1989) is a rugby union player for Premiership side London Irish. Previously with Leinster and Rotherham Titans, he has also represented Ireland under-18s and under-20s at international level.

Club career

Born in Birmingham,[1] Sheridan was educated at St. Patrick's Classical School in Navan, Ireland.[2] He spent four years in the Academy at Leinster, making three appearances in the Pro 12, before joining Championship side Rotherham Titans for the 2012–13 season.[3] He made 19 appearances in the league and three in the British & Irish Cup, including Rotherham's 59–26 win over Plymouth Albion in which he scored two tries.[4][5][6][7] In April 2013, after one year with the club, he signed a two-year contract with London Irish, joining the club at the end of the season.[8] He made his debut in September's 42–20 defeat to Saracens.[9]

International career

Though he was born in England, Sheridan has represented Ireland under-18s and under-20s at international level.[2] After a strong performance against Worcester Warriors he was backed by London Irish Director of Rugby Brian Smith for full international honours.[10]
