Dzhamaldin Abdukhalitovich Khodzhaniyazov (Russian: Джамалдин Абдухалитович Ходжаниязов, Turkmen: Jamaldin Abduhalitowiç Hojanyýazow; born July 18, 1996 in Baýramaly, Turkmenistan) is a Russian professional football player. Currently, he plays in the Russian Football Premier League for Amkar Perm on loan from Zenit St. Petersburg.[1] Khodjaniyazov is of Uyghur descent.[2] He also holds Turkmenistan citizenship.

He made his debut in the Russian Premier League on 26 July 2013 for Zenit St. Petersburg in a game against Kuban Krasnodar.[3]

Biography

Khodzhaniyazov was born in the Turkmenistan city of Baýramaly. He is Perfectly fluent in Russian language.[4]

Club career

A graduate of the Tashkent sports school Chilanzar. First coach - Gregory Rozyev. He played for the tolyatin Akademiya Tolyatti.[5]

In winter 2012 moved to Zenit Saint Petersburg, signing a contract for 3 years. On 26 July 2013 he made his debut in the first Zenit team in the match of Russian League against Kuban Krasnodar.[6] [7] [8]

International career

He began performing for the Russian youth team in 2012. With it he attended the Viktor Bannikov Memorial Tournament where played four matches. In a tournament team won second place, losing final in a penalty shootout to Ukraine.

In the junior team of Russia he went to the European U-17 Championship 2013. In the first match, he scored first goal of Russian team, which was his first[9] in an international career. At this tournament, he played all five games, and Russia U-17 team became European champion.[10][11]
