Dwight Brigham Harwood was an American football and basketball coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Harwood was the head college football coach for the Hillsdale Chargers located in Hillsdale, Michigan. He held that position for 19 seasons, from 1927 until 1945. His coaching record at Hillsdale was 69 wins, 52 losses and 14 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #3 at Hillsdale in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.563).[1]
He died of a heart attack in 1965. He was 73.[2]
