Dwayne Kelly is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the NMMU Madibaz.[1] His regular position is scrum-half.

History

He represented the Blue Bulls Under–13 and Under–14. His parents relocated to Kwa-Zulu Natal in 2006, where he represented the Under–16 Sharks Wildebeest in 2007 and the KZN Under–18 Academy team.

He captained the Westville Boys' High School 1st XV rugby team while he was in his matric year and played for the Natal Sharks Under-19 team in the 2010 Under-19 Currie Cup and also played and captained the senior Sharks Sevens team in 2011. In May 2012, he joined the Eastern Province Kings, appearing for their Under-21 team in the 2012 Under-21 Currie Cup.

He was included in the senior squad for the 2013 Vodacom Cup and made his first class debut against Boland Cavaliers.[2]

He made his first appearance in the Currie Cup competition in the opening fixture of the 2013 Currie Cup First Division season, when he started the match against the Pumas.[3]

He was also named in a South African Universities team that played against Namibia in 2013.[4]
