Drumkit from Hell
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Drumkit from Hell is a sample-based drum software synthesizer developed by Toontrack. It features heavy sounds well suited for heavy metal music.
It is the predecessor of Toontrack's more simplified EZdrummer, with the original DfH samples re-released as an expansion, and the high-end DfH Superior (rechristened Superior Drummer with version 2).
This software was used to create the full drum tracks in Meshuggah's album Catch Thirtythree (whose drummer, Tomas Haake, was part of Drumkit from Hell's development team and also provided the drum sounds himself), as well as in Devin Townsend's Ziltoid the Omniscient.[1]
DfH is also used by Agoraphobic Nosebleed on the album Agorapocalypse.
