Druids Heath is an area of southern Birmingham, United Kingdom covering the south-west quadrant of the B14 postcode (west of the Maypole). Nearby settlements include Kings Heath, Kings Norton.

Etymology

The name Druids Heath comes from the Drews family, who worked in the area in the mid-19th century.[1]

Politics

Druids Heath is in the local council ward of Selly Oak,[2] which is represented by Liberal Democrat David Radcliffe.[3] It is also in the parliamentary constituency of Selly Oak. Therefore, it is represented in the House of Commons by the Labour Member of Parliament (MP) Steve McCabe.

Education
