Drouwen is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, and lies about 17 km east of Assen.
In 2012, the village of Drouwen had 430 inhabitants.[1] The built-up area of the village was 0.73 km², and contained 220 residences.[1] The statistical area "Drouwen", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 490.[1]
