Dromid Pearses is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Dromid Parish, South Kerry in County Kerry. South Kerry are a Gaelic football Divisional Team in County Kerry. The South Kerry Team draws its players from seven Club teams in the Division. (Sneem/Derrynane, St. Marys, Cahirciveen, Renard, Skellig Rangers, Valentia, Waterville and Dromid Pearses)

South Kerry has won 9 Kerry Senior Football Championships, most recently beating Dr. Crokes in November 2009. Dromid Pearses was originally founded in 1946 by Sean Hard Curran. They have a football field at Inchanatina, Mastergeehy with dressing rooms that was officially opened on October 20, 1991. In recent years, the club have developed a stand which holds 300 people, two new dug outs, floodlights, new goalposts and new netting and a new scoreboard. Construction has started on a new building which will consist of new dressing rooms.


South Kerry Senior Football Championship

Dromid Pearses have won 1 South Kerry Senior Football Championship and lost 2 finals. The South Kerry Senior Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition between clubs affiliated to the South Kerry division. When a Divisional team like South Kerry win the Kerry Senior Championship, the winners of the Divisional championship chose the Kerry Captain. The Jack Murphy cup is the prize for the winners.
