Andrew "Drew" Roy (born May 16, 1986) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Jesse on the teen sitcom, Hannah Montana and his role on TV show, Falling Skies.

Life and career

Roy was raised in Clanton, Alabama.[3] He moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, stating, "I always wanted to be a doctor, but five friends and I decided to give Hollywood a shot. We had an absolute blast. We lived in two one-bedroom apartments, three guys crammed into each bedroom.".[4]

Roy appeared in mostly independent film projects from 2006 to 2013 such as Robin in the "Robin" movie, although he scored an uncredited recurring role in Greek in 2007.[citation needed]

In 2009, he landed a role on the television series iCarly, as Griffin. He has also guest starred in episodes of Hannah Montana as Jesse, Miley's love interest, and on Lincoln Heights.

In 2010, he landed his first motion picture role portraying thoroughbred horse farm owner Seth Hancock in the film Secretariat.[1]
