Drew Beasley
Drew Beasley (born 2001) is a pre-teen American actor working in television, film, theater, and commercials. He is also a published author.
Acting and voice acting
Beasley has appeared in the films Shutter Island (directed by Martin Scorsese), The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (directed by Rebecca Miller and starring Robin Wright), and Somebody’s Hero (directed by Darin Beckstead). He has a role (as Dick) in the forthcoming short Tommy's Pumpkin (directed by Alex Halpern).
On television, Beasley had a recurring role (as Erickson) in the dramatic series Damages, has appeared periodically on Saturday Night Live, guested on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and appeared in the programs Rescue Me,[1] Blue Bloods,[2] and White Collar. He portrayed Charlie Garretti in the brief run of the CBS legal drama Made in Jersey.
He has contributed voiceovers to the Nickelodeon series Dora the Explorer (as Pinto the Horse), Wonder Pets, and Are You Ready?
Beasley has appeared in (or done voiceovers for) television and radio commercials for Walmart, Jif peanut butter, Olive Garden, Smuckers, Hasbro, Tetley Tea, Band-Aids, LongHorn Steakhouse, Purina, SeaWorld, Mercedes-Benz, and other products and sponsors.
Other work
At the age of ten, Beasley wrote and published Growing Up ... With Jack. The book encourages positive behavior around young children with special needs.[3]
Personal life
Beasley is currently enrolled at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan.[4]
