Dreaded Chaotic Reign is the third and the last studio album by the Norwegian black metal band Carpe Tenebrum released in 2002 on Hammerheart Records. Unlike two previous albums Dreaded Chaotic Reign has more death metal sound mixed with black metal. The album was recorded after Stian Arnesen had left the band and Astennu was the only remaining member.
