Doug Korn is an American businessman and conservative donor.

Personal life and education

Korn earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.[1]

Career

Korn was a co-founder of Eos Partners, LP, serving as a director from 1994 to 1998.Previously, he also served as a Vice President at Blackstone Group. Korn has also been affiliated with Trinagy Inc., MC Shipping Inc., Bally Schuhfabriken AG, Thermadyne Holdings, Vitamin Shoppe Industries, CH4 Energy II, PlayCore Holdings, Bally International AG, Aearo Co., Victor Technologies Group, VS Parent Inc., Aeropostale, Reddy Ice Group, Ironshore, Inc., VS Direct Inc., and Fitz and Floyd Enterprises.[2]

Korn joined Irving Place Capital in 1999, and currently serves as a Senior Managing Director.[1]

Political activities

Korn was a major backer of Rudy Giuliani[3] and Mitt Romney.[4]
