Biography

Doug "Doog" Bresler (born Douglas Carlton Bresler on May 4, 1979 in Santa Monica, CA[1]) is a producer, director, animator, musician, and podcast personality based in Los Angeles, CA. He is best known for founding the animation production studio Doogtoons, and directing such internet shorts as "Weird Al" Yankovic's Trapped in the Drive-Thru music video, Cinemax's Eli's Dirty Jokes, Fox Sports' web series Fight Stories with Urijah Faber, the Kottonmouth Kings's web series Stonetown, Nick and Haig, pop artist L.B. Rayne's music videos, the animated Ask A Ninja shorts, and other various "animated interviews". Bresler's animated shorts and music videos have earned more than 100 million views on the web.[2]

An accomplished musician, Bresler toured across the United States playing drums with Santa Barbara-based artist Kirstin Candy on her "Another Sweet Mess Tour" of 2002, opening for Dave Wakeling of The English Beat. He was also one of the founding members of the notorious Rod Stewart tribute band, One Nation Under Rod. He has most recently played drums on his brother Joe Bresler’s 2012 album Truth in the Ashes. Bresler has also composed his own music, including all of pop artist L.B. Rayne's "lost theme songs".[3]
