Donato is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km north of Turin and about 15 km west of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 750 and an area of 11.8 km².[1]
Donato borders the following municipalities: Andrate, Chiaverano, Graglia, Mongrando, Netro, Sala Biellese, Settimo Vittone.
