Dolní Cerekev (Czech pronunciation: [ˈdolɲiː ˈtsɛrɛkɛf]) is a small town (městys) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.[1]
The town covers an area of 15.82 square kilometres (6.11 sq mi), and has a population of 1,217 (as at 28 August 2006).
Dolní Cerekev lies on the Jihlava River, approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Jihlava and 111 km (69 mi) south-east of Prague.
