Djoko Santoso

General Djoko Santoso ([ˈdʒoko sanˈtoso]; born 8 September 1952) is a retired Indonesian general. He was Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army from 2005 to 2007. He was then appointed to the highest military office, that of Commander of the Armed Forces of Indonesia, in which capacity he served from 2007 until his retirement in 2010.
Djoko Santoso was born in Solo, Central Java on 8 September 1952.
