Dipendu Biswas (born 29 September 1981[1]) is an Indian footballer. He played a significant part in Indian football in the 1990s and is now a sports broadcaster.[2]

He graduated from the Tata Football Academy in 1996[3] and captained the under 19, under 21 and Indian senior teams, as well as East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and MD Sporting, and also played for Mahindra United.[2] His total goal score at national and international levels is 242.[2] He joined Mohun Bagan again in 2012.[3]

His earnings in 1998–1999 were reported to be Rs1.2 million and in 1999–2000 were Rs0.8 million.[4] In 2011 he was one of a handful of players who were gifted land by the government at subsidised prices because they had "made the state proud at national and international levels."[5]

Dipendu also plays the tabla.[2]
