Diogo Carreira (born December 2, 1978, Barreiro) is a Portuguese basketball player. In 2009, Carreira discovered a benign tumor adjacent to his right ear. After removal, he made a full recovery. He was also one of the first Portuguese to contract H1N1.[1] In 2008, Diogo joined Benfica.[2]
