The Dijon tramway is a tramway system opened in Dijon, France, in September 2012. The system will consist of two lines with 37 stations. Line T1, the first to be opened,[1] is an 8.5-kilometre long (5.3 mi) line with 16 stations running from the Dijon railway station to Quetigny. Line T2 will be an 11.5-kilometre long (7.1 mi) line with 21 stations running between Valmy and Chenôve.[2] Dijon has ordered 32 Alstom trams to provide the service.[3]
The tramway is being built under a €176m Public–private partnership contract between the Grand Dijon urban authority and Inéo.[2]
