Dighalia (Bengali: দিঘলিয়া) is an Upazila of Khulna District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.
Geography
Dighalia is located at 22°54′30″N 89°32′00″E / 22.9083°N 89.5333°E . It has 20768 units of house hold and total area 77.16 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Dighalia has a population of 107840. Males constitute 53% of the population, and females 47%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 56104. Dighalia has an average literacy rate of 39.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]

Dighalia has 6 Unions, 30 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 41 villages. They are: 1. Dighalia 2. Senhati 3. Barakpur 4. Gazirhat 5. Aaronghata 6. Jugipole
