Diego Fernando Valdés Parra (born August 13, 1981) is a Colombian footballer who has played for Deportivo Cali as a defender and central midfielder since 2002. He has represented Colombia at under-21 and under-23 level.[1] He currently plays for Atlético Venezuela.
His former clubs at professional level include Deportivo Cali, Deportivo Pasto and Independiente Medellín in his native Colombia, Estudiantes de Mérida from Venezuela and Blooming of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano. His younger brother is football defender Carlos Valdés, who plays for the Philadelphia Union in the MLS.
