Diane Hendricks

Diane Hendricks is an American businesswoman, film producer and philanthropist from Wisconsin.[1] She is the widow of Ken Hendricks.[1]

Business

Diane Hendricks owns the Hendricks Holding Company and she serves as chairperson of ABC Supply Co., Inc.[1][2][3][4] She is worth US$3.8 billion and she is thus the richest woman in Wisconsin.[2][3][5]

Philanthropy

She is a donor to WisconsinEye and co-chair of Rock County 5.0.[1][3] She has sat on the boards of Stateline Boys & Girls Club and Beloit Memorial Hospital, Forward Janesville, Kandu Industries, Blackhawk Bank, the Beloit Foundation, Beloit College and the Hendricks Family Foundation.[5]

Hollywood producer

She has produced movies, including The Stoning of Soraya M., about an execution in an Iranian village, and An American Carol.[3][6]

Political donor

She donated $500,000 to Governor Scott Walker's re-election campaign and was his biggest donor.[2][7] She also supports Paul Ryan.[3]

Taxes

In 2010, she paid no income state tax. This was the first zero obligation posted by the Beloit resident since at least 2002, according to records from the state Department of Revenue. She had paid a seven-figure Wisconsin tax bill in four of the previous five years, the records show.[2][7][8]
