Dian Slavens is a Democratic politician from Michigan currently serving in the Michigan House of Representatives. First elected in 2008, Slavens will be ineligible to seek re-election in 2014 due to term limit provisions in the Michigan Constitution.[1]
Prior to her election to the House, Slavens was a Respiratory therapist in southeast Michigan for 20 years. She is also active in various community organizations, including the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Girl Scouts, and church.[2]
