Dhaka FM is a Bengali-language FM radio station in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The station was founded in 2009 as an Internet-only broadcaster and became the first radio station in Southeast Asia to set up a full studio with RJs to run an online station. In December 2010 the station was the first to be awarded with private FM radio station license by the government.[citation needed] It began broadcasting in January 2012 or December 2011.[1] Dhaka FM runs 20 hours per day of live programmes.
