Dewanoumi stable
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dewanoumi stable (出羽海部屋 Dewanoumi-beya) is a stable of sumo wrestlers, part of the Dewanoumi ichimon or group of stables. It has a long, prestigious history. Its current head coach is former sekiwake Washūyama. As of April 2013 it had 22 wrestlers.
The demotion of Futenō to the makushita division in July 2010 left the stable without any sekitori for the first time since 1898.[1]
