Devhara is a census town in Shahdol district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Devhara is also biggest gram panchayat in anuppur district.it is complitlly surrounded by coal mines.in Devhara there are many industrial plants like navbharat and dainik bhaskar which produce large quantity of dynamite.Devhara has many notable persons of district Late "ASHOK TIWARI" who was distrct chairman of anuupur.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Devhara had a population of 10,827. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Devhara has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76% and, female literacy is 59%. In Devhara, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
