Desulo, Dèsulu in sardinian language, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 90 km north of Cagliari and about 35 km south of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,737 and an area of 74.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Desulo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Issiria, Ovolaccio, and Asuai.
Desulo borders the following municipalities: Aritzo, Arzana, Belvì, Fonni, Ovodda, Tiana, Tonara, Villagrande Strisaili.
