Derya Köroğlu

Derya Köroğlu (born 1955) is the founding member and lead singer of the Turkish musical group Yeni Türkü. He plays guitar. Besides Yeni Türkü, he made a solo album titled Musikarium in 1997. He still actively performs music and works as a producer.
Biography
He was born in Istanbul in 1955. He graduated from Ankara Fen Lisesi (Ankara High School of Science) in 1971 and then got a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in economy at Middle East Technical University.
