Dernice is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 km southeast of Turin and about 40 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 235 and an area of 18.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Dernice contains the frazione (subdivision) Montebore.
Dernice borders the following municipalities: Borghetto di Borbera, Brignano-Frascata, Cantalupo Ligure, Garbagna, Montacuto, and San Sebastiano Curone.
